Dom Perignon Champagne 2009

Quick Overview

Dom Pérignon Champagne is owned by Moet Hennessy and is one of the world’s most highly regarded and sought-after Champagnes. The name ‘Dom Pérignon’ comes from the story of a Benedictine monk named Dom Pérignon, who lived in Hautvillers in the Champagne region of France from 1638 to 1715. Dom Pérignon spent 47 years of his life in the Abbey of Saint Pierre, where, among other duties, he worked on improving some of the oldest aspects of champagne-making. All Champagne is first and foremost, wine. And a very elegant wine at that. Delicious and gentle with the smallest of bubbles carrying the aromas and flavours unique to Dom Pérignon. Without Dom Pérignon the region and industry of Champagne production would not exist today.
