Glenmore Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Quick Overview

The Glenmore Cabernet Sauvignon is from accomplished wine maker Ian Bell who for many years was the force behind the iconic, super-premium Moss Wood wines - the Margaret River's most sought after wine label.

This Cabernet Sauvignon from Ian's own Glenmore Estate is a (very) full bodied red with an amazing perfumed aroma followed by delicious, rich & succulent fruit. If you are looking for a voluptuos wine to accompany grilled meats, then this classic Margaret River Cabernet is perfect.

Dark red in colour with a dark red/black hue, excellent intensity & depth of flavour with a well integrated nose & lovely fruit characters typical of Margaret River, such as black & red fruits with underlying black currant and cassis. Hints of cigar box arise from the use of well integrated oak. The rich ripe red & dark fruit characters & cassis carry through to the palate, providing a wine of many layers of flavour with a very long finish.
