Shiraz offers a complex nose of dried figs, mulberries, dates and Christmas pudding with suggestions of a chocolate box, anise, sandalwood, vanilla, and potpourri. The palate reveals a well-balanced wine of massive proportions with tons of baking spice and dried fruit layers supported by a high level of chewy tannins and uplifting acid, finishing with epic persistence.
