  1. Mr. Mick by Tim Adams Cabernet-Merlot 2013

Crafted in typical Mr Mick style, this wine has subtle French oak, smooth tannins, distinctive varietal characters of strawberries & red cherries, a hint of spice & a long lingering finish.
Mr. Mick is Tim Adams "other label" & probably the best value Aussie Cab-Merlot wine in Singapore.
Prominent wine critic Jeremy Oliver says of Tim Adams: "...one of the finest & most consistent of the Clare Valley's wineries ....affordable prices... carefully & professionally made".

  2. Clarendon Hills 'Brookman Vineyard' Merlot 2004

    93pts - Robert Parker

"Clarendon Hills’ Merlot can be very interesting. Their 2004 Merlot Brookman Vineyard, while displaying a certain herbal character, offers gorgeous layers of white chocolate, sweet black cherries, & a hint of espresso roast. With terrific fruit, an opulent texture, & a fleshy, up-front style,The 2004 Merlot Brookman Vineyard is a concentrated,100% Merlot offering scents of sweet berry fruit & coffee bean as well as a thick, rich, medium to full-bodied, powerful palate with wonderful precision & elegance. I rarely enjoy Australian Merlot, but Clarendon Hills makes me sit up and take notice! Terrific fruit, an opulent texture, and a fleshy, up-front style " - Robert Parker

  7. Craneford 'John Zilm' Merlot 2004 (1500m Magnum)

92pts – Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate

"I continue to be shocked by encounters with top-flight Merlot from Australia (it doesn’t happen that often). Craneford’s 2004 Merlot, a knock-out effort from the Barossa that spent 16 months in French oak, exhibits a dark ruby/purple color in addition to rich aromas of berry fruit, roasted coffee, chocolate, & subtle herbs. This fleshy, voluptuously-textured, hedonistic Merlot will provide immense pleasure" – Robert Parker

  9. Howard Park Cabernet-Merlot 2002 (1500ml Magnum)

    89pts - The Wine Front
"The 2002 Howard Park Cabernet Sauvignon is a dense blood red with a dark centre.
The nose displays predominantly the characters of Great Southern Cabernet Sauvignon; dusty earthy tones with dark blackcurrant fruits. There is high class cedary oak evident providing a savoury component to the bouquet.
The palate displays the benefit of the addition of the Margaret River Cabernet with rich sweet fruit displaying chocolaty & ripe berries complementing the leaner more austere Great Southern Cabernet.
The outstanding feature of the wine is the structural complexity achieved only in a few wines with mature ripe tannin & backed up by quality French oak." - The Wine Front

  10. Howard Park Cabernet-Merlot 2003 (1500ml Magnum)

    91+pts - The Wine Front
"A mix of red & black berries, chocolate, tobacco & cedar oak with some aniseed wafting around in the background.
On the palate medium to full bodied with a mix of dark slightly baked savoury tobacco tinged fruit & fresher summer berry flavours. Plenty of stylish cedar oak that is both tastefully applied & well settled into the wine. It has firm tannins showing a slight greenness & looks quite tightly coiled with some edgy acidity poking through. Finishes well with a little tannic grip on exit.... plenty of potential." - The Wine Front
