- BY the CASE
2017 Misty Cove Organic Pinot Noir - This wine contains a mixture of traditional organic Pinot Noir clones 777, 115, Abel and 667. It was made through minimal handling intervention and the softest touch. Allowing it to show natural expression of terroir balanced with French oak. The wine is elegantly expressed on the nose showing red cherry, cranberry, mixed spice and toasted nut characters. The palate delivers juicy fruit intensity and supple mouthful, beautifully supported by fine texture and silky tannins. The wine combines youthful fruit flavours with elegant savoury nuances.
17/20 points - Jancis Robinson MW
“Cherry, currant, plum and raspberry together with toast, spice and a hint of forest floor. The palate is supported by firm well integrated tannins and soft acid.”
Martinborough is home to New Zealand's most prestigious (& expensive!!) Pinot Noirs with names such as Ata Rangi, Dry River & Craggy Range.
Grown on a single vineyard in Martinborough, the fruit was handpicked after an excellent growing season.
This is an excellent Martinborough Pinot Noir at a fraction of the price of Martinborough's 'big names'!

2016 Misty Cove Fifth Innings Pinot Noir
Whole bunch fermentation and ageing in new French barrique makes the wine instantly appealing with impressive complex notes on the nose showing spiced cherry, dark plum, dried herb, cedar and floral aromas. The palate is concentrated and elegant at the same time, offering wonderful fruit purity brilliantly enhanced by silky texture and deep savoury undertones. A fine wine that is refined and engaging, wonderfully structured by fine, firm tannins. Limited production with only 3000 bottles available; each bottle individually numbered.
