Vibrant mulberry, black fruits and pepper lead to a full and soft palate of pleasing length and weight. Enjoyable drinking now this wine should age well for another five years.
A single vineyard release from the Rarangi area of Marlborough. The free draining soils of the vineyard allow the vines to be grown in a way to allow the fruit to ripen and exhibit exuberant fruit flavours and aromas, with depth and weight on the palate. Fermented in half ton lots this wine has hand plunged then pressed in to new and seasoned barriques where it aged on lees for ten months.
