    From the Premier Grand Cru Sauternes property of Chateau Guiraud, more well known for it's outstanding dessert wines, G de Chateau Guiraud is produced from a 15 hectare parcel of vines on the estate especially dedicated to the production of this dry white wine. The vines are planted to a density of 6600 vines per hectare and to the proportion of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon. The fruit is picked by hand at maximum ripeness. The wine is fermented in oak barrels previously used for the Grand Cru and maturation also takes place in oak barrels for up to 9 months, with regular stirring on the lees.

    Since the 2012 vintage, this outstanding white Bordeaux has been carefully selected and blended by the team at Château Clinet (Pomerol). The vineyard is situated at the highest point of the Gironde region, between Sauternes and Saint-Emilion. The clay and limestone terroir, the orientation of the vines and the altitude (145m) combine to produce stellar white wines. Produced from 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon in stainless steel vats, with low-temperature maceration.                                  An appetizing pale gold colored wine, with a platinum glow. Mouth-watering scents of candy, boiled sweets are lifted by blossom, lime, and mature white-fleshed fruits. In the mouth, the first impression comes from the fleshy, creamy texture. Then the white and zingy citrus fruits step in, seasoned by cardamone and saffron threads.
